Mana Māori: Private Tour

Embark on a one-hour private tour through Te Papa and experience the living and breathing taonga (treasures) of te iwi taketake (first peoples of the land). From great journeys across vast oceans to hopeful visions for the 21st century, these taonga speak to historical and contemporary Māori perspectives.
Gain a deeper understanding of the intricate details found in a diverse range of handcrafted tools and structures with your own personal Te Papa guide.
- 1-7 people: $175 total
- 8 or more: $28 per person
Pick the date and time that suits you (earliest available start time is 09:30am while the latest is 16:30; Te Papa is closed on Christmas Day).
Maximum of 20 people per booking; for groups of 21 or more, please contact tours@tepapa.govt.nz.
