Current programme: Dinosaurs explore, stomp, soar, swim, roar | Torohia Taniwha

Come join the StoryPlace team for a fun exploration of all things dinosaurs and friends. In this programme we will celebrate fantastic creatures from our past and present.  

StoryPlace is closed Monday 29th April to Monday 6th May inclusive. Reopening Tuesday 7th May with a new programme.

StoryPlace is a space specially and exclusively for preschoolers and their caregivers. Here, toddlers can explore museum-related themes through play, games, storytelling, and song. Led by a friendly Te Papa Host.

Before purchasing your tickets please note the following:

• Babies are free of charge but still require a ticket.

• StoryPlace does not cater for children over the age of 5.

• All toddlers must be accompanied by their caregiver(s) for the duration of the session.

• A group booking for preschool groups is for a maximum of 25 people (this includes toddlers, babies, and adults). Please email StoryPlace@tepapa.govt.nz to place a booking for your group.  

• We no longer take bookings for birthday parties.
